What you’ll do:

- Provide exceptional customer service through presenting solutions to customer’s financial situations and accurately processing customer transactions in accordance with bank policies
- Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their banking needs
- Introduce new products and solutions to customers and be willing to ask for referrals
- Consult with current and potential customers to analyze their financial needs and present products and solutions through discussions in the aisles of our grocery store partners and participating in offsite events
- Assume responsibility in absence of the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager.
- Perform overrides on various teller transactions to ensure accuracy and that proper procedures are followed
- Responsible for security and the maintenance of proper cash requirements in teller drawers, the vault, and atm.
- Follow up on sales leads, open new accounts, and recommend alternative solutions based on customer’s banking needs
- Maximize the number of customer relationships
- Complete daily teller duties included but not limited to accurately handling money, processing customer transactions and requests, and resolving any customer issues.
- Travel to multiple branch locations working various opening/closing shifts as needed.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned

Position Requirements

Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 1 year of retail sales/service

- Strong commitment to customer service with excellent verbal/written communication and a confident, self-starter with strong negotiation skills

- This individual is required to have dependable transportation with a valid driver’s license, if driving a vehicle, to commute from branch to branch as necessary, as well as the ability to work a flexible schedule and hours including nights, weekends, and holidays (the bank is closed most major holidays).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous Best Bank employee with FIS experience
