This position works from the Tallahassee, Florida, office. The accounting position provides a range of professional not-for-profit accounting services, including processing, reconciling, recording, and reporting complex member financial transactions, general ledger financial transactions, and payroll and benefits administration. Must have a command of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, Internal Revenue payroll tax laws and Federal Department of Labor regulations. Ability to successfully manage a substantial workload, multi-task, work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. An Associate Degree in accounting and a minimum of five years full-charge bookkeeping experience with annual operating expenditures of $3,000,000+, payroll administration experience of 30+ employees, and constituent data management experience of 20,000 members required.
