Human Resource Director

The Catskill Watershed Corporation is seeking to hire a qualified and experienced Human Resources Director. Position will include developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company's goals, creating and enforcing HR policies, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and overseeing talent management processes such as recruitment, onboarding, training, and development. The Human Resources Director will also handle payroll and benefits, employee relations, mediate disputes, and foster a positive work environment. Bachelor's Degree in human resources field, Business or Public Administration, or related field and 10 years of experience required. HR Certification and master's degree preferred.

Starting salary $80,000 - $90,000. Excellent benefits.

The CWC was born out of the landmark January 17, 1997 New York City Watershed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between City, State, Federal and environmental entities, the Coalition of Watershed Towns, and every Watershed municipality. The CWC is a not for profit Local Development Corporation which executes numerous New York City-funded environmental protection, economic development and education programs throughout the New York City Watershed West of the Hudson River.
