The Town of Arlington is seeking a highly motivated individual for a full-time position to join our Finance department. This position primarily performs a variety of complex, responsible and confidential administrative duties requiring knowledge of organizational procedures and precedents; duties requiring customer service, organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Applicant must have graduated from a standard high or trade school, and a minimum of 5 years combined experience in secretarial, clerical, customer service, and administrative support required. Any equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

The Recorder's office is the focal point of city employment and employee development. Arlington currently employs 72 full-time and 4 part-time employees. Applications for all positions are accepted at any time and are kept on file at Town Hall for six months. The Recorder administers the Town's insurance and retirement plan, workers' compensation and safety programs, compensation plan, and personnel policy.
