Contract and Reporting Specialist
This position enters contract data / information into the vendor management system on behalf of contract managers; coordinates the contract review and management steps of the vendor risk management process; works with vendors to ensure all applicable FHLBank standard contractual provisions are included in contracts; assists with contract negotiations for large dollar contracts and high risk vendors; tracks and monitors contract terminations and renewals; prepares the quarterly and annual reporting of the Office of Minority and Women
Inclusion (OMWI) diverse spend with prime contractors and subcontractors; maintains the vendor management system and assists with configuration changes; and serves as a backup to the Vendor Risk Analyst.
What qualifications are needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, contracts or legal specialization or other related discipline is required.
- Two to four years of similar or related experience.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work with a variety of business partners and external parties to achieve department and corporate goals.
- Basic project management skills.
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing field and consistently meet deadlines.
- Inquiring mindset with the ability to think logically.
- Must be able to work and travel independently and operate all types of general office equipment.
