Payroll Administrator
The Payroll Administrator manages all aspects of the payroll function and the time and attendance system. This position will explain and apply hospital policies, provisions of the plan documents, appropriate provisions of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) and regulations to employees in a helpful manner when it applies to the payroll function. Calculates, reconciles and remits payments for applicable payroll taxes and quarterly reports for both federal and state agencies. This position will ensure compliance with wage and hour regulations according to both federal and state standards.
The Payroll Administrator performs the payroll functions of the facility in accordance with generally accepted accounting and cost reimbursement principles relating to the health care industry The Payroll Administrator makes independent decisions that affect the business dealings of the organization. This is an non-exempt position that reports to the Controller, with frequent interaction with the Senior Director Finance / Chief Financial Officer expected.
