WE ARE HIRING: FINANCE SPECIALIST

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized individual to join our team as a Finance Specialist. The Finance Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining and managing our financial information and administering payroll for Fire District 3. This position offers a unique blend of challenges and rewards, making it an exciting opportunity for anyone with finance or payroll skills who is looking to make a meaningful impact in this field of work.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BRING THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associates Degree in business, accounting, or related field or any satisfactory equivalent combination of experience and training which ensures the ability to perform the essential functions of this position.
  • 3 years' experience in performing payroll and general accounting functions.
  • Experience in the use of computers, with specific experience in accounting, word processing and spreadsheet software applications.
  • Valid Drivers License

Benefits and Compensation:

  • SALARY: $4,747 - $5,770 monthly
  • 40-hour work week schedule (4-10s), front loaded sick leave bank, accrued vacation, sick leave and holiday time-off/pay.
