- DIRECTOR FINANCIAL AID
- The Director of Financial Aid serves as chief administrator for the office of Financial Aid and administers a student financial aid program consisting of federal, state, and local funds. This position provides leadership for and supervision of all financial aid operations and manages a service-oriented Financial Aid Office by maintaining eligibility of financial aid programs, and providing appropriate financial aid information and assistance to students/families. The Director of Financial Aid supervises the receipt, evaluation, and approval of requests for all programs, establishes procedures for and keeps records on transactions with students, ensures effective and efficient use of automated financial aid management systems, prepares or supervises the preparation of all required and ad hoc reports related to the operation of the office and ensures the College's use of funds in compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
- Qualifications include a Master's degree in business administration, business management or related field; minimum of six years administrative experience in student financial aid programs from a college; or equivalent combination of education and experience; experience leading a team is required; Ellucian Colleague System experience preferred. - The Assistant Director of Financial Aid oversees major functional areas in Financial Aid by planning, leading, organizing, and improving all day-to-day functions and operations of the office in compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations. The Assistant Director of Financial Aid works collaboratively with the Director of Financial Aid developing and implementing policies and procedures reflecting the strategic direction of the office as well as coordinating training with all staff members. The Assistant Director of Financial Aid serves as back-up to the Director of Financial Aid.
